Professional Experience 2003 – Present Clinical Instructor, Univ. of Connecticut Medical School, Farmington, CT.Course: EDCAM class presenting Energy Medicine  
  1992 – Present President/Founder, The Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences, LLC., Bloomfield, CTI am the Founder, President, and CEO of a private occupational school approved by the CT Commissioner of Higher Education. The school offers both a four-year Energy Medicine Practitioner Program and a two-year Energy Medicine Certificate program with an emphasis on the Psycho/Spiritual correlations of physical disorder. The programs are considered complementary to traditional medicine; consequently, many students are physicians, nurses, psychologists and manual therapists, although non-medical personnel attend as well.  This program is legally affiliated with approximately 50 hospitals and medical facilities nationwide as well as being approved by the Connecticut Commissioner of Higher Education.

Television and Radio 1992 – Present Featured on several dozen radio and television talk shows in Connecticut, Massachusetts, California, Washington, and New York, as well as in St.Croix, St. Maarten and Anguilla. The most recent radio shows are in Internet Radio on Naturally Speaking Talk Radio 1450 A.M in California, and the Dr. Pat Show out of Seattle, WA. In addition to WRCH 100.5, an NBC affiliate, and WDRC a CBS affiliate both located in Hartford, CT. The most recent television show has been on Better CT. Channel 3 a CBS affiliate in the greater Hartford area

  1996 THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENERGY SOLUTIONS FOR THE 21ST CENTURYI was honored as a leader in the field of energy medicine when asked to be one of six presenters from around the globe at this conference in the Washington DC area. I joined a panel of physicians from the United States and various eastern and western European countries in presenting our approaches to an international audience. The focus was on the place of energy in the medical world of the future, as well as in sharing and comparing results of using energy work in our professional practices.

Grants and Research   FRONTIER MEDICINE GRANT – Co-Chairman of the Advisory Board – University of Connecticut Medical School, Farmington, ConnecticutThe University of Connecticut received a two million dollar FRONTIER MEDICINE GRANT from the National Institute of Health, (NIH), to study energy medicine.  The approved research projects were in bone cell regeneration, and fibroblast reconstruction, as well as clinically in cervical and breast cancer treatment, and finally, fibromyalgia for which Dorothy was awarded grant funding to research The W.I.S.E. MethodTM with fibromyalgia patients.  
  EDCAM GRANT – Clinical Instructor – University of Connecticut Medical School, Farmington.  This one and a half -million dollar grant from the NIH supports CAM and energy medicine education for medical students,.
